Mike shares his setup, which started out as a single radio, and has now grown into several dedicated scanners and a recording interface to log all the local Military Aviation traffic.
What is interesting about Mike’s setup, is his keep is simple approach to his setup, which means he is using mostly handheld radios feeding into a portable audio recorder.
Besides photographing and monitoring MilAir, Mike enjoys building different antennas to help improve his reception.
Our conversation will be reposted soon on YouTube in shorter form, so please enjoy our full conversation on today’s podcast.
