When I bought my first Airspy, I realized that I was really starting to get serious into the SDR side of the hobby. Before my Airspy’s, I was buying the cheap SDR’s that did not have a TCXO and would seriously drift.  It was a joy to start using the Airspy receivers. Since then, cheap RTL style SDR’s with TCXO’s have come out on the market that reduce the drifting issue.
