Today, we will cover what to look for when selecting a weather station, what your options are, and what mistakes I have made with prior weather stations I have owned in the past.

- There are many options when it comes to picking a personal weather station.
- You should have an idea of what type of readings you will want to collect, such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, or rain fall.
- Many home water stations also collect more advanced data such as soil moisture, UV, and solar radiation.
- Not all home weather stations include a display. Some only work with smart apps or smart home devices.
- There is a weather station for every budget and need.
