Frequency Bands

• To keep geographical RF uses standard, there are well organized frequency bands.
• Globally, there is a radio spectrum plan by ITU (International Telecommunications Union), and there are three sections worldwide.
• The ITU or radio regulations divide the world into three regions to manage the global radio spectrum. Each region has its own set of frequency allocations.
• ITU is important because we want to keep neighboring countries and governments on the same block to frequencies.
