Phil,
The first question you addressed related to What scanner should I get for my area? I consider your answer a gift… you did all the footwork and advised as to what was needed. The second part of the first question dealt with Baofeng radios-I deemed your answer as informative.
But if you are going to field questions regarding what to buy, and research what is needed FOR them, it seems to me a Pandora’s box has been opened. You really don’t want to be inundated with individual requests of this sort do you?
Maybe a better approach would be to refer to a previous podcast answer session (or your tutorial on how to buy a scanner) where you have described HOW to research this and determine what will be needed. Otherwise, you’ve got a lot of research to get done in order to provide answers. In my opinion, I don’t think this is what you intended for your questions and answers podcasts, but if I’m wrong, please re-educate me.
