Blocking those unwanted signals
A filter is a great tool to either block unwanted frequencies from reaching your scanner, or only allowing a certain range of frequencies to pass to your receiver. Depending on your needs the filter you require would change.

As the name implies, a filter will either allow or reject frequencies from passing through and onto your radio
