Trunked Radio seems to be one of those items that trip up a lot of scanner radio users. In Session 7 of Scanner School, we discuss the basic principles of trunking, how talk groups work, and take a 30,000 ft view of a trunk radio system.
This session lays out the groundwork for future Scanner School podcasts where we will discuss LTR, EDACS, Motorola Type I, Motorola Type II, Motorola P25, DMR, TETRA, and even NXDN.
